Our Mission Project for December will be collecting
clothing for the nursing department at Westview
Primary School. There is a huge need for emergency
clothing for children ages 3-7 – underwear, shorts,
pants for children who accidentally soil their clothes.
All sizes are needed, including larger sizes. Also,
many kids are unable to purchase jackets, hats,
mittens for the playground/bus stop. Any of these
items can be brought to the UMW Christmas Dinner
and will be delivered to Westview Primary. A box
will be placed in the meeting room for others who
wish to participate in this project. We will be
collecting items indefinitely.
Killingsworth Home in Columbia is our special

This takes you directly to the secure online giving site. On the left-hand side, you will note options to register as a new user or to give without logging in. If you give regular gifts to St. James United Methodist Church, it is recommended that you take the extra minute to make a log-in account, as this will allow you to access a real time record of your gifts which are needed for future tax returns. Creating a log-in also gives you the opportunity to set up regular bank automatic drafts if you would find this an easier option for the future. You can also text your gifts to St. James United General Budget, text the amount to 843-636- 7455. Register your credit or debit card information and press enter. Thank you for your generous gifts, and contact me if you have any questions at 843-576-4638, or firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you would like to provide the altar flowers for a certain Sunday, please print your name on the calendar (in the lobby) on the date you wish to provide the flowers. Also, please print the name(s) of person(s) you are honoring or remembering and the special occasion. This information will be placed in the bulletin. There are two options for providing flowers:
1. Have the flowers automatically ordered through the church office. The cost is $40.00 and are delivered to the church. You then make your check payable to St. James UMC.
2. You can provide your own flowers, You will be responsible for purchasing the flowers, picking up the arrangement and getting it to the church by 8:30 a.m. on Sunday morning. You must contact the church two weeks prior to placing the flowers to prevent an automatic order to the florist.
The flowers are yours to keep after the Services are over
